Partagas Serie P # 2 Review

This cigar looks quite amazing. The wrapper is a light brown shade with an amazing aroma coming off of it. The aroma is quite earthy with a little sweetness to it. The cigar itself was a little soft but not a big deal. The construction, other than that, was flawless. There were no veins in the stick, the cap was perfectly flush, it was a very good looking cigar. The cigar cut very clean and was very easy to light.

This cigar started off with a very mild spice with quite a bit of earthy notes. Once the cigar smoked down about an inch, the spice died down quite a bit a became quite woody. The woody notes became very strong and almost completely negated the spicy notes.

Toward the halfway point, some of the spice notes came back but it wasn’t enough to take over the earthy notes that were there. Shortly after the half way point, the cigar became much stronger on the woody notes. As well as the woody notes, a slight sweetness came out as well. The cigar had such a great finish. The finish was very smooth with strong notes of wood, with nice undertones of sweetness and spice.

The ash on this cigar was a nice lighter shade of gray that was fairly strong holding on just shy of the halfway point. The burn was even all the way through and the draw was also flawless. The smoke was very creamy and plentiful. The aroma was perfect. There was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy.

This cigar was so good. I literally smoked it all the way down until I burnt my fingers. I didn’t want this cigar to end at all. For a lighter cigar, the flavor was amazing and robust. I have to give this cigar a 8.5 out of 10. I would definitely love to have a few more of these.

Enjoy,

Zack the Stogie Man
