Oliveros Aging Room M356 Mezzo Review

Wrapper: Dominican
  Filler: Dominican
Price: $7.00

A few weeks ago I went on a little adventure with my Dad to find some new cigar shops, just to see what new cigars we could find. Well this one shop we found in New Jersey was literally in the middle of a town I had never been to before. The shop was situated in a way that if you didn’t know it was there, you would miss it. As I walked around their small walk-in humidor, I spotted these cigars. I was asked several times what I thought about this cigar, but I had never seen them. So when I saw these on the shelf I had to give it a shot.

This cigar has a very nice looking wrapper. It is a light to medium shade of brown with a few darker spots throughout it. There were a few thin veins that ran throughout the wrapper, but the wrapper was pretty smooth. The cap was composed of several layers, and they all lay perfectly flush. The stick itself was solid throughout with a slightly softer foot. The smell that was coming off of this cigar was very sweet.

Oliveros LTD Toro Review

Wrapper: Brazilian Maduro
Filler: Combination of Nicaraguan, Peruvian, and Dominican
Price: $7.00 - $8.00

I picked up an Oliveros sampler pack a few months back, and this one cigar stood out to me. It was partly due to its wrapper. I am a true fan of full bodied cigars. And this cigar definitely packed the right punch for me.

The wrapper, however, was actually quite rough. The wrapper wasn’t really smooth like most other cigars. It actually felt dry, but I know my humidor is working correctly because no other cigar that I have smoked lately have felt this way. The wrapper had a few thick veins and several soft spots. The wrapper actually smelled quite sweet and tasted like coffee.

Once I lit this stick up, the flavor was clearly coffee. Shortly after I lit it, there seemed to be a mild pepper flavor but that faded quite quickly. Once the pepper flavor subsided, a sweet sugary flavor entered. The flavor actually tasted like coffee with a nice helping a sugar in it. The palate was left with a very sweet coating.

Oliveros King Havano Oscuro Review

Wrapper: Nicaraguan Triple-Fermented Oscuro
Filler: Ligeros from different regions throughout Nicaragua

Price: $5.00 - $7.00

Now I have found out over my years of having a stogie here and there that most Oliveros makes a very good cigar, although highly underrated.

Having said that this cigar had an appearance that drew me in right away. The wrapper was the perfect shade, and the smell and texture were amazing. Not to mention that the band on the cigar was very cool looking. The cigar had a very nice cut, no peeling, and no splitting at all.

Once I lit it, it had a relatively hard draw, and the wrapper had a slightly spicy flavor on the lips. Once it was lit, the aroma was very amazing, very fragrant and sweet. But surprisingly there were no prominent flavors at the start of the stick, just a basic tobacco flavor with a very slight peppery flavor.

Oliveros El Padrino Edicion Italiana Lucky Lou Review

Wrapper : Triple-Fermented Brazilian Maduro
Filler: Combination of rare Italian tobaccos and Dominican tobaccos

Price: $4.00

I just want to start out by saying how intimidating I thought this cigar was. Mainly for the fact that is it black. It was by far one of the darkest cigars I have ever come across.

As soon at the cigar touched my lips, I could taste the sweet flavors that the wrapper had. Very sweet flavors of coffee and sugar. The cigar cut very nice and lit with no problem. The draw was exceptional on this stick. I could easily feel its medium body with every puff. The wrapper was amazing; very chewy and oily.

The first third of the cigar had very distinct flavors of coffee and sugar. Both were were very dominant and combined beautifully. The nice slow burn made each of these flavors just linger on the palate for quite awhile. Each puff from this stick produced a good amount of white smoke.
