Wrapper: Habano Sun Grown
Filler: Nicaraguan Ligero
Price: $7.00 - $8.00

The construction of this cigar is simply amazing. The wrapper is a dark brown, almost like dark chocolate. The cigar is very solid with not a single spot on the cigar that is softer than anywhere else. There were absolutely no veins in the wrapper that could alter the burn pattern. The cap was good looking as well. It had multiple layers. The only flaw I noticed was that there was a little extra glue up around the cap.
The spice was very strong off of the light. The spice quickly subsides to give way to some very pleasant notes of coffee and wood. The coffee it a little bitter, but with the combination of the wood actually made a quite sweet flavor come out. About an inch in, the flavor becomes very earthy with strong notes of cedar.

The ash on this cigar was amazing. The light gray ash was layered very nice and was strong, holding on beyond the halfway point. The burn was pretty even all the way through. There was only one spot where I needed to give it a minor touch up. The draw was flawless. The smoke was very thick and creamy with an amazing amount produced. The aroma was spicy but I was finding little notes of sweetness coming through.
This cigar was great in every aspect. This cigar is easily deserves a 9.25 out of 10. This was the perfect cigar for the perfect morning.
Until next time,
Zack the Stogie Man
This was the last cigar I had, and it was the most enjoyable one I've ever tried. Totally agree with the review. An excellent smoke.
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to picking up one or two of these, I've heard a TON of good things about them. I've noticed I'm only just starting to pick up the ability to sense all of the individual flavors, but when I read reviews like this, I can be thinking about them before/as I smoke, and it helps me to pick them out. Thanks!
