Wrapper: Cuban-Seed Nicaraguan

Price: $4.00 - $5.00

The cigar looks wonderfully constructed. The wrapper is light brown and flawless. There are no cracks, no splits, no peels, and no soft spots. But most importantly, there were no veins. The cap is very cool looking as well. It actually looks like is has a few layers and a few different shades of brown. The smell of this cigar was very sweet as well.
This cigar started off very earthy with very little hints of spice, but after and few puffs, the spice subsided and made room for even more earthy flavor. The earthy flavors were so prominent that its all you could taste. After a few more puffs on the beautiful stick, the earthy notes became more distinct. It became easy to tell that the notes were that of hay, and cedar. The sweetness of the cedar was quite good.

The ash on the cigar was great for the first half, but not so much in the second half. The first half was light gray and beautifully layered. But the second half was very flakey. The burn was even all the way through until the end. The draw was flawless as well. The smoke was very thick and creamy, and billowed great. The aroma was surprising to me. Even though there wasn’t much spice in the flavor, the aroma was quite spicy, but nice nonetheless.
If you’re a fan of mild cigars, or enjoy cigars early in the morning with a cup of coffee, this is definitely a cigar for you to try. I give this cigar a 6.5 out of 10 only because I would have liked it to have a more complex flavor profile.
Enjoy your smoke,
Zack the Stogie Man
